What Should be Note When Install Waterstop

PVC waterstop and rubber waterstop have the same installation methods. Installing waterstop right is the key of using waterstop. Partly or all of waterstop is buried in concrete. There are many sharp stones and steel head, which maybe pierce or tear the waterstop. Tear strength of waterstop is lower 3 to 5 times than tensile strength. once the waterstop is pierced or teared, do not need more force, the gap of waterstop will expand. So in the process of positioning waterstop and pouring concrete, we should note the positioning method and pour pressure to prevent waterstop being pierced. If there is rupture phenomenon, we should repair it in time, otherwise the waterstop's ability to resistant to force will decrease largely when joints deform and suffer water pressure.
When fixing waterstop, holes only can be punched in permission area, can not damage noumenon. The waterstop should be flat on the interface, can not roll or twist together, otherwise we should adjust in time. When pouring concrete, we should prevent waterstop displacement, also should shock concrete fully. In this way, the waterstop can waterproof well.
